2024 Year-end Newsletter
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”.
Hello Friends,
Well, 2024 is coming to a close and you have to ask:
Where did the time go? This year-end letter could go on and on about what we have experienced this past year, but this year we are going to make it simple.
We had a great year, and a very trying year as well.
The coming year of 2025 looks to be a great one, with six houses on the schedule, and people asking to sponsor one of our amazing students. We could not ask for more than that!
I want to introduce you to a man that was affected by your giving. This man's name is Santiago. He was living in the local dump, and was hooked on meth. Because of your faithful giving, we are able to help several ministries in the San Luis community. Santiago was reached by one of these ministries that we partner with. This ministry visits the local dump, and feeds the workers that scavenge for anything to make a buck. After they are fed, they are given the word of God. On one particular Saturday, Santiago was fed a meal, and was introduced to Jesus Christ. He accepted Jesus into his heart, and our partners delivered him to a rehab center. They paid for his rehab, and he came out as a new, changed brother in Christ. Today he is being mentored by the ministry's husband, and learning a trade as an auto mechanic. We saw him the other day and could not believe the transformation! SEE PHOTOS BELOW.
This is just one of the MANY ways people have been touched by your generous giving. Without your donations, it is hard to tell where this man would be. Now he is a child of God, and one of our new brothers in Christ!
