Isaiah 6:9  Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm.

Hello Friends,

In October we were confronted with a situation where we had no idea the road the Lord was going to bring us down. One of our ministry partners in Mexico told us that when people come to the service in their facility, they have to turn people away at the door. There was just no room inside.

I told the Casa Board that I think we need to do something to help. We looked at adding on to the old facility, but decided adding new wine to old wineskin is not wise. We were presented with the opportunity to buy a lot across the street and possibly build there. The word got out and we were given a considerable donation as seed money. We were advised not to build too small. As the old saying goes, the rest is history.

The Casa Board voted to go ahead and move forward with the cement work. In the meantime, we started fundraising for the building. I am so proud of our board of directors for being obedient to what God asked us to do, because over the next three months we saw His faithfulness. The funds started coming in and we finished phase one by the first of January.

The facility has seating for 400 people, and the amount of people attending has nearly doubled since then. The funds that went out each week matched the amount that came in each week. Go figure!

After the dust settled, we ended up with a $2000 deficit on a hundred thousand dollar project. That is God and His faithfulness to the whole group involved!

Currently this ministry is a few blocks from the city dump. They are pulling meth addicts out one by one and guiding them with a new life in Jesus Christ. There are men and women serving this new facility with a sense of purpose. That purpose is to bring more people to a saving relationship with the Lord.

NOW, we have one more phase to go, and that is the children's ministry center right next to the new facility. We are planning on starting as soon as we have some funds to start the project. Would you be willing to give some seed money to get the project rolling? The amount of kids being ministered to, almost outnumbers the adults, so we see this as a real necessity for the whole community. Please, if you feel God prompting you to help, call us and we can surely discuss it. Donations can be mailed to: Casa Homes of Hope, PO Box4671, Yuma, AZ85365 or at our website: christiansinmexico.org

The student ministry is being guided by our dear friends, Moses and Angelica. They have ideas for these young adults that will change the trajectory of the student ministry. Currently much of our alumni have come back to assist. They are working on becoming their own entity with the guidance from Moses and Angelica. Soon these young adults will be doing their own fundraising. Many of them have their passports now, so they will be coming to the U.S. to speak to groups and raise funds for the future. All I can add is: to anyone who has ever sponsored one of these students, you have opened the door to a new generation of young adults changing the landscape they live in. Every dollar invested has come back with astounding results. THANK YOU!

We have finished our first home build of the year, and have several scheduled through March. Please keep us in your prayers.
Prayer requests:
*Guidance for the future.
*A younger couple to help us move into the future.
*Finances for everyday operations, as well as the new   facility.
*Safety

Thank you and God Bless!
